Duties

Serves as the special programs and associated staff synchronizer to the command group in the management of the day-to-day mission operations. Directs, manages, and supervises the Division G-Staff, Inspector General, Public Affairs, Staff Judge Advocate, Chaplain, Safety, SHARP, Protocol, Congressional Liaison, CR2I and the administrative staff assigned to the Command Group. Identifies developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training.

  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450
  • Secret Security Clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Advising on a wide range of issues involving internal management, integral installations resources/constraints, and operational staging platforms; developing and reviewing plans, programs and policies that support contingency preparation/recovery operations; performing operational experience in a division or higher headquarters, implementing new ideas, procedures and processes in areas of short/long-range strategic planning/development and deployment; coordinating and synchronizing base support operations; and providing administrative program direction and supervision to higher level management on a variety of subjects for base/operations support. . This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-[insert 11 or above]). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: LeadershipOral CommunicationPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
