About the Position: Serve as a Senior Advisor and Technical Authority in the Environmental Division (ISE) under the Installation Services Directorate (IS), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9.
Duties
Responsible for planning and/or implementing a broad array of complex resource management programs.
Coordinate land and resource planning with a several stakeholders such as representatives of other agencies, Federal, State, and local governments, the general public, and with private landholders.
Develop policy implementation guidance and/or instructions for programs within Castner Range National Monument.
Monitor Department of Army projects to determine compliance with Army objectives and/or policies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and/or maintain Secret Security Clearance.
- May be required to business travel up to 20% for this position.

Specialized Experience:
Assist with developing and/or managing public land and resource programs; Responsible for program planning with established regulation and/or guidance; manage stakeholder engagement and/or consultation for public land use; and developing and/or implementing short range, mid- and/or long-range plans for land use and/or environmental programs, especially related to monument management.
