About the Position: This position is with the US Army CHRA Solider & DoD Services HR Directorate; Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System Civilian Human Resources Service Center (DCIPS CHRSC) with duty location at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Duties
Primary serviced organization is the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), which is covered by Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS), an excepted service personnel system.
Will provide on-site support to help meet INSCOM's critical intelligence and security missions.
Assist senior management officials on Civilian Human Resources management issues.
Keep abreast of changing programs/technical developments within the Civilian Human Resources field.
Advise management on recruitment strategies, sources, and special programs.
Analyze program information, statistical data, and the effectiveness of Civilian Personnel programs to identify areas which need improvement.
Direct and control work efforts of a Branch (i.e., assign work, adjust short-term priorities, establish performance objectives, evaluate performance, etc.).
Oversee a team performing operational recruitment and placement duties (e.g. vacancy announcements, candidate referral, job offers).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, must pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- Temporary duty (TDY) travel will be required 10% or less of the time.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in Federal service which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience advising managers and employees on complex issues regarding Federal Civilian Human Resources (CHR) services, to include processing sensitive HR actions in major functional areas of Federal HR administration such as Staffing, Recruitment, and Classification. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-12).
