About the Position: This Department of Army Civilian position is with the Military Intelligence Readiness Command Office of the G1, located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Duties

Write instructions for procedures on complex military personnel management programs. Analyze Human Resources programs to address problems and deficiencies. Within supported units prepare responses to congressional special inquires. Conduct Staff assistance visits and inspections to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Disseminate regulations, directives, and reports pertinent to military personnel.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: LeadershipManaging Human ResourcesTechnical CompetenceWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
