About the Position: Serves as a Program Manager in the Operations Division in the Business Support Directorate of the Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA). Acts as an advisor by reporting and providing staff guidance on all matters pertaining to assigned programs and projects.
Duties
Executes program management, analysis, and project management responsibilities in support of Army Civilian talent management across the enterprise.
Develops strategy, objectives, organizational processes, project initiatives and performance benchmarks.
Establishes and maintains contacts with other recognized experts in connection with furthering Army career management transformation or process improvement technology in order to exchange information, obtain additional views, and coordinate efforts.
Manages research studies and analysis to synthesize and interpret results in order to make recommendations, develop guidance, and adjust programs.
Develops the approach and processes necessary to collect information, analyze and synthesize data, and recommend strategic opportunities to anticipate and position the Division to deliver programs and products in support of senior leader guidance.
Serves as a process and team facilitator to analyze models to determine trends and requirements for the formulation and development of primary and alternative plans, policies and milestones.

- Position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: managing all aspects of a civilian strategy to include managing, evaluating and developing programs, identifying resources for the programs, and analyzing current and emerging talent program strategies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
