You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Submarine & Aircraft Carrier Operations Department, Integrated Weapon Systems Teams (IWST) Integrator Division, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will serve as a Supplier Relationship Manager and will be responsible for developing processes to track, manage, and achieve on-time delivery goals and post contract award management.
You will serve as the focal point for internal and external communications to ensure coordination and alignment.
You will provide cradle to grave post award contracting analyses and reporting.
You will prepare recommendations, complete with all supporting documentation, for the resolution and identification of areas requiring improvement or higher level engagement.
You will will participate in all aspects of internal audits.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of the relationships in life cycle logistics support planning, acquisition policy, supportability analyses, and program management. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Developing supply processes to track, manage and achieve on-time delivery goals and post contract award management; 2) Serving as the focal point for internal and external communications to ensure coordination and alignment; 3) Providing integrated logistics, platform and weapons system program support; and 4) Tracking supplier performance and developing integrated solutions to supplier problems.
