You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Surface Operations Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will implement integrated logistics policies and procedures including ensuring item management, supply planning, provisioning, item introduction, material budgeting are effectively performed in support of assigned systems and platforms.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will make decisions concerning management information systems for monitoring and evaluating shipbuilding programs progress.
You will formulate and coordinate execution of the material budget and budget related projects for the department.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a mastery knowledge of logistics program management policies and procedures to include logistics support analysis guidelines, combat weapon systems analysis guidelines, inventory management and life-cycle logistics support in order to provide guidance/direction to subordinates and to implement actions in support of weapons systems programs. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Keeping abreast of general supply systems developments, automation and other technological changes, and new managerial techniques and evaluates their impact; 2) Formulating and coordinating execution of the material budget and budget related projects for the department; 3) Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work; and 4) Implementing integrated logistics policies and procedures including ensuring item management, supply planning, provisioning, item introduction, material budgeting and supply chain policy functions are effectively performed in support of assigned systems and platforms.
