Duties
You will serve as the Human Capital Office Chief supporting the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) US Army Garrison Hawaii (USAG-HI).
You will develop and advise on strategies for staffing and talent management and implement a variety of multifaceted policies and projects encompassing human capital objectives.
You will coordinate and manage hiring authorities and status of all actions associated with human capital efforts to include implementation and management of policy and processes including applicable variations of direct hiring authority.
You will develop a human capital strategic plan, including goals and objectives that will enable the agency to accomplish its mission and bridge the gap between present and future organizational requirements.
You will serve as the primary liaison with the servicing Indo-Pacific HR Servicing Center to assist management in the effective implementation of civilian human resource programs and initiatives.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
