Duties

You will be responsible for coordinating and publishing all Garrison Operations Orders for ceremonies, events, and activities and for coordinating, submitting, and tracking of all garrison requests for military support. You will conduct a variety of operational studies and special projects and coordinate command operational reports including, but not limited to, Defense Readiness Reporting System, Army, Strategic Readiness Update, RESET, etc. You will serve as one of the primary DPTMS Managers for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and must be able to report to the EOC within 2 hours of notification.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • May be required to complete occasional business travel.
  • Must complete all Federal Emergency Management Agency training classes to certify for CAC/EOC duty.
  • This position may require shift work or work during other than normal duty hours.
  • This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) you must report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
