This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year round including surfing, fishing, and hiking.
Duties
Serves as liaison between management and CPAC and coordinates all aspects of the activities' personnel actions with the servicing CPAC.
Provides advice and assistance to managers and supervisors on complex personnel management matters involving staffing, and recruitment and placement actions.
Serve as a liaison between management and the Army Benefits Center- Civilian.
Interprets local policies and directives, and provides guidance and advice to management and personnel at all levels.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires 10% TDY.

Specialized Experience: One-year specialized experience which includes 1. Providing regulatory and technical advisory services for civilian personnel policies, procedures and requirements; 2. Reviewing organizational workforce plans; and 3. Utilizing software programs to extract data from personnel management systems to generate reports. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
