About the Position: This position is established as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist (LMS), serving as the Deputy of the Readiness and Sustainment (R&S) Directorate within the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in the Army Medical Logistics Command's (AMLC)
Duties
Supports the R&S Director and serves as the senior acquisition expert overseeing synchronization of acquisition support operations within the Directorate enabling Supply Chain Optimization in support of AMLC Direct Reporting Units (DRUs) and outside organizational stakeholders.
Serves as the first level supervisor to the Product Support Integration Division (PSID) Chiefs and second level supervisor to their subordinates.
Provides strategic oversight and guidance to the cataloging and customer service initiative in support of MEDLOG in Campaigning (MiC). The efforts support streamlining medical materiel ordering and medical device maintenance while posturing the Army to be medically ready to transition quickly from peacetime at home station to an active operational environment.
Requirements

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- This position requires a Supervisory Probationary Period
- CAP Position- Selectee must execute a written tenure agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years.

Specialized Experience is defined as having one year at the next lower grade level or equivalent pay band level performing the following duties;
1. Managing overall analysis and implementation of medical material programs, performance reporting, and monitoring;
2. Planning life cycle management and medical materiel sourcing solutions in support of the Operating Force; AND
3. Briefing executive level management on medical equipment distribution in order to assist with short/ long-term program planning.
