You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD D FT DETRICK MD.
Duties
You will provide administrative and leadership for 24+ military, civilian, and contractors.
You will direct the operational management of naval operational forces assemblage management programs, Operations and maintenance, Navy (OMN) and other Procurement, Navy (OPN) funded medical and dental equipment replacement and outfitting programs.
You will ensure funding has been adequately identified to support mission. Track execution and develops metric to identify potential issues.
You will establish board program goals and objectives advising higher authority of the impact the various programs and technologies on overall Navy medical mission.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience providing strategic direction and supervision of mid-level naval officers, upper-level federal civilian (GS-12/13) Deputy Directors, and contractors.
Experience managing medical and dental equipment and consumable material for new construction and ships undergoing major conversion and/or overhaul maintenance supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and shipbuilding Program Executive Officers (PEOs).
Experience utilizing planning, programming, budget regulations, guidelines and process, for DoD's and Navy's acquisition, and management process to prepare long-range (5 year) and short range planning guidance in accordance with DoD, OPNAV, Fleet, and BUMED policies and objectives.
Experience in project and program management activities analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating complex qualitative and quantitative information to improve process workflow for efficiencies and effectiveness to include the application of advanced analytical methods and techniques.
