About the Position: This position is located at Fort Detrick, Maryland. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced leave accrual may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Provide assistance to medical logistics managers based on regulatory guidance. Serve as the top civilian technical authority in the realm of medical logistical operations Direct long-range planning for the customer support team. Implement ways to eliminate or reduce significant barriers to production. Provide medical logistics presentations on process improvements. Assure reasonable equity of individual employee performance standards. Develop formal training plans for subordinates.

Requirements

• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
