Duties
Responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Business Division at a large garrison.
Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
Implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide aggressive community business program which meets the needs and interests of the military community.
Develops and/or recommends methods, operations, and programs to ensure profitable business activities income.
Must be able to work some nights/weekends as mission dictates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to the satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required
- Required to file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with requirements of DODD 5500.7 Joint Ethics Regulation
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Work experience directing/managing one or more DMWR Business Operations activities for a garrison, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year.
Highly Qualified Criteria:
Within the last three (3) years, demonstrated experience in leading, developing, and coordinating multiple NAF Business/Recreation programs at the branch/division level (Garrison/Region/HQ).
Within the last three (3) years, proven expertise with contract management and/or performed Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) functions in support of revenue generating programs and services.
Possess a professional membership/certification in a field of relevant expertise (e.g., Leisure and Hospitality, ServSafe, BPAA, PGA, ASE).
