About the Position: Serves as the Contract Management Specialist for the US Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASOAC), and performs duties both internal to USASOAC, including all geographically separate battalions.
Duties
Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Trusted Agent (TA) and Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for the assigned contracts of the USASOAC. Performs Contract Management Oversight duties.
Monitors and provides an independent link in the execution of the contractors' quality controls, services, and assurance plans, ensuring the contract conforms to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
Develops and administers customer feedback program and processes end user feedback, reporting both satisfactory and unsatisfactory service and products.
Develops and maintains SOPs that are consistent and up to date with USASOC Requirements SOP and policies, as well as Government Purchase Card procedures, oversight, management, and training requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a TOP Secret Clearance with SCI.
- This is a drug testing position.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
- May travel up to 10% of the time.
- One-year probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Performing cost studies, reviewing workload data and related costs of contracted services. Experience in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of contract service support program operations. Experience in requirements for signature reduction, identity management and sensitive training. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
