About the Position: This position is located in US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND TASK FORCE 40-25 FORT LIBERTY, NC
Duties
Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Trusted Agent (TA) and Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for the assigned contracts of Task Force 40-25, US Army Special Operations Command.
Monitor and provide an independent link in the execution of the contractors’ quality controls, services, and assurance plans, ensuring the contract conforms to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
Perform Contract Management Oversight duties in support of the TF 40-25Chief of Staff and responsible for various contract service and equipment requirements.
Serve as the principle focal point for developing and preparing Requirements Documents and managing all contracts for Task Force 40-25.
Develop and administer customer feedback program and processes end user feedback, reporting both satisfactory and unsatisfactory service and products.
Develop and maintain SOPs that are consistent and up to date with USASOC Requirements SOP and policies, as well as Government Purchase Card procedures, oversight, management, and training requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- May be required to undergo polygraph screening for access to certain special access programs.
- Successful completion of a DoD accredited Contracting Officer Representative course.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Performing cost studies, reviewing workload data and related costs of contracted services. 2) Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of contract service support program operations. 3) Possessing knowledge of requirements for signature reduction, identity management and sensitive training. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).
