Duties
DUTIES:
For this position, typical work may include:
Serves as a data analytics lead for a variety of reimbursable and non-reimbursable HR data-related projects in support of the organization's solution areas.
Assists solution area supervisors in offering robust data analytics capabilities for HR lifecycle services.
Formulates data goals and objectives for projects, develops approaches to meet needs, outlines work to be accomplished, establishes milestones, and assesses progress in meeting schedules.
Reviews final products and deliverables to determine that they meet requirements and to ensure that the intent of each project is fully met.
Consults on the communication of the data requirements and project steps to encourage the smooth planning and execution of project activities.
Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below.
Specialized Experience:
GS-13: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing ALL the following duties:
Applying knowledge of statistical, comparative, or trend methods or models to analyze workforce and succession planning; AND
Using qualitative (for example, interviews, focus groups, coding) and/or quantitative methods (for example, surveys, statistics, mathematics) to evaluate or improve succession planning, workload, and/or staffing plan effectiveness; AND
Presenting technical information orally or in writing to audiences with differing levels of subject matter expertise, AND
Applying data visualization techniques using common software tools (for example, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel).
Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level.
