You will serve as Logistics Planner & Administrator at the TSC, Arctic Security Studies.
Duties
As a Logistics Planner & Administrator at the GS-0301-12/13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive logistics and planning processes for educational, research analysis, and engagement programs.
Coordinate closely with internal divisions to provide assurances of seamless integration of logistical operations, to include providing expertise where needed in connecting planning team members with external coordinating partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
Lead logistics and related coordination planning components of the Center Action Group (CAG) for both deliberate, long-term projects and support planning for exigent short-term projects.
Serve as liaison between executing agents with internal teams and external partners seeking to collaborate on activities, fostering productive relationships and ensuring clear communication.
Help develop strategic plans and process improvements to enhance logistical efficiency and effectiveness as it pertains to its successful application during planned Center activities.
Assist in linking event execution strategies and tactics to the resource needs required to meet objectives.
Provide material contributions to detailed reports for the Center, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement based on administrative elements of activity planning and execution.

Qualifications
For GS-12:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
Knowledge and skill in applying analytical evaluation methods and techniques to issues concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions.
Knowledge to plan, schedule, and conduct projects to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a program or support setting.
Knowledge in analyzing and making recommendations concerning the centralization or decentralization of operations.
For GS-13:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Knowledge of Regional Center structure, mission, programs, and organizational relationships plus a thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop staffing standards covering complex program functions or missions, Projects typically involve development of new approaches to identifying meaningful workload factors and performance quality levels, and determining accurate measurement techniques.
Expert knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods plus a thorough understanding of how regulatory or enforcement programs are administered to select and apply appropriate program evaluation and measurement techniques in determining the extent of compliance with rules and regulations issued by the agency, or in measuring and evaluating program accomplishments.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
