About the Position: Serves as an Operations Specialist in support of the Combat Capabilities Development Command Headquarters (DEVCOM HQ). DE-03 pay band includes GS-12 Step 1 to GS-13 Step 6.

Duties

Designs, develops, implements and manages knowledge management procedures and business processes to create common collaboration platforms and regional workspace applications to enhance effectiveness of operations. Develops and presents briefs regarding International Technology Search Databases and SharePoint data management solutions. Articulates strategy for Science and Technology engagements in support of agency plans. Facilitates partnerships throughout the broader Department of Defense Science and Technology Enterprise. Oversees planning, management, and execution of Army Futures Command Forward Elements contributions to the International XTechSearch and other tech competitions. Assists with force-protection requirements and Individual Anti-Terrorism Plans (IATPs).

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 20% of the time
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
