Duties
Serves as the Army Command level conduit for training and Training Program Evaluation Group (TT PEG) resourcing for four major subordinate general officer-led units and nine cross functional teams.
Assists the Chief of Experimentation in the planning, development, and resourcing of multiple future-focused experiments designed to ensure that the Army is postures to achieve overmatch in future conflict.
Oversees the development of budgets for the Training and Experimentation Program
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the AFC training and exercise program.
Ensures the effective execution of the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) throughout US Army Futures Command.
Oversee the revision of long-range plans, goals and objectives for the work directed.
Participates as the AFC representative in Councils of Colonels related to training activities impacting the command. Is prepared to serve as AFC senior in forums in the absence of General Officer leaders.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- Appointment to this position may be subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- A three year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
