You will serve as a GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST in the CENTRALIZED COORDINATION DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will be responsible for developing, facilitating, and managing FRC East programs for assessment of corporate issues as the relate to the depot as a business.
You will provide technical guidance, review recommendations, and provide feedback and assistance to lower-grade specialist assigned program responsibility.
You will prepare, develop, and coordinate logistics plans designed to integrate the full range of logistics elements for Long-Range Planning (LRP) determinations.
You will develop and submit a Logistics Requirement and Funding Plan (LRFP) to identify depot funding requirements to support the assigned systems or equipment.
You will monitor progress and report status of logistics milestones.
You will prepare, negotiate and manage support agreements for Public-Private Partnership arrangements with commercial industry for complex and high-visibility weapons systems.
You will Identify, evaluate, develop and implement innovative solutions to eliminate program obstacles/barriers to achieve program objectives.
You will provide consistent, quality customer service to ensure successful program/project execution with delivered products and services.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Understanding of a complex aircraft industrial/production operation to conduct studies and analysis of depot capability, including integration of human resource skills, facilities, material resources, technical guidance, equipment, and processes and procedures; 2) Providing Long-Range Planning {LRP) for assigned depot level repair systems, subsystems, and components and commitment control; 3) Serving as a senior specialist for LRP (Aircraft) and LRP (Engines); 4) Providing technical guidance, reviews recommendations, and provides feedback and assistance to lower-grade specialists assigned program responsibility; 5) Serving as a senior LRP representative for long range planning for a weapon system, a combat system, equipment, or project manager. 6) Reviewing and developing supporting data, and provides comprehensive planning information, logistics plans, recommendations, alternatives and impact statements to activity command, staff, program managers, and individual weapon systems, combat systems, and equipment acquisition managers.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
