You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Corporate Operations Department, Security Division of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWC PHILA DIV).
Duties
You will direct, assign and oversee work of the employees, planning work schedules and standards and giving instructions on how the work should be completed.
You will track the progress of the work, accept or reject the work, and evaluate the performance of the employees.
You will coordinate, facilitate, mentor, supervise and plan techniques in order to ensure work is delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
You will develop and implement a local Personnel, Information, and Industrial Security Instruction and Standard Operating Procedures.
You will develop and administer the Command's Information Security Program, Industrial Security Program, and Personnel Security Program.
You will formulate and coordinate the command's security awareness and education program.
You will ensure access to classified information is limited to those who are eligible and have the need to know.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading security programs (e.g., personnel, industrial, information, foreign disclosure, education training, awareness) to ensure policy and programs for the security division. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include demonstrated experience as a Command Security Manager with an expert level of experience in Personnel Security and Insider Threat program management; experience supervising Industrial Security, Information Security, Foreign Disclosure, and large command Security Education Training and Awareness programs; working with EEO, Labor Employee Relations and command level Legal Office on personnel issues; managing policy, personnel, and programs up to collateral Top Secret.
