You will serve as a Information Security Program Manager in the Security Office of NSWC PHILA DIV. This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, equivalent to the GS-13/14. The salary for this position may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $147934).

Duties

You will be developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, instructions, procedures, control systems, and methods of safeguarding documents. You will develop, modify, and direct implementation of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCP policy and procedures necessary to provide for the identification and protection of classified and unclassified information. You will establish and review documentation to ensure it is in line with program requirements including requests for deviations or exceptions. You will Conduct or direct/coordinate conduct of audits of NSWCPD operations and facilities to ensure compliance with pertinent program directives, to identify problem areas/security violations, and to direct corrective actions.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating or updating security protocols for an organization to ensure the efficacy of established policies.
