About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Fort Detrick, Maryland.
Duties
Monitor contractor performance with regard to the installation mission.
Manage the Property Accountability Program.
Counsel employees on technical work and administrative matters.
Conducts meetings and conferences with installation personal.
Coordinate highly complex requirement issues with organizational representatives to ensure that military units are operationally ready and mission capable.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary duty travel of 10% may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
- this position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization. The incumbent must be exempted from recall to active duty.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Presenting maintenance reports; and monitoring maintenance contracts; and directing the use of the Army logistics information system; and managing supply transactions; and maintaining Total Army Maintenance Management System records. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
