Duties
You will manage and oversee the full range of facilities projects including the planning, maintenance and repair of government buildings and/or multiple properties.
You will manage and oversee renovation and construction projects, reviewing construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance, analyzing cost estimates, and resolving issues from preliminary design through construction.
You will plan and execute minor construction, maintenance and repair projects.
You will coordinate the efforts of various contractors and service providers to ensure timeliness in the accomplishment of the construction plan.
You will coordinate meetings with to review progress, discuss problems, and develop solutions.
You will identify and notify supervisor of apparent defects in building systems, such as, but not limited to, leaks, cracks, breaks, unusual smells, etc. as well as any apparent safety hazards.
You will develop and monitor preventive and recurring maintenance programs.
You will serve as the construction contracting officer's representative (COR) providing construction management oversight for service contracts, such as minor renovation and construction projects.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing and overseeing a full range of facilities projects including the planning, maintenance and repair of government buildings and/or multiple properties to include maintenance of the grounds, HV AC systems, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems, elevators, automated voltage regulator systems, uninterrupted power supply equipment, generators, and the structural aspects of buildings.
