About the Position: Serves as a Program Analyst in the Business Management Directorate (BMD), Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC). Performs the full range of review and analysis functions to identify and plan fiscal resources needed to conduct ILSC operations
Duties
Prepares budget requests or justifications for funding for higher management
Prepares a variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations as required.
Maintains cognizance of the organization’s financial plan through review of periodic cost summaries, review, and analysis of those reports to include but not limited to recommend reprogramming actions to assure maximum utilization of available funds.
Evaluates data submitted for consistency with previous estimates and current levels of program operations.
Assists and coordinates preparation of monthly Funding Execution Review and Analysis, reviews content for accuracy and validity.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.
- The duties of this position require occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel. (up to 10%)
- DoD Financial Management Certification level 2 is required for this position and must be achieved by the incumbent within two years of entrance into this position. Incumbent shall adhere to guidelines and requirements of this certification program.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) security clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11)
