About the Position: This position is located at the US Army Tank - Automotive & Armaments Command, Program Manager Light Armored Vehicles Office (PM LAV) in Warren, MI. PM LAV is a U.S. Marine Corps Board Select 0-6 program staffed by Department of Army Acquisition Professionals. The Program Office is a direct support to the Marine Corps Program Executive Office Land Systems. This office performs all acquisition functions for life cycle support.
Duties
Provides expert advice and recommendations regarding programmatic policy, formulation and execution to Project Management Office senior leaders.
Interprets broad policy and program directives and makes recommendations of time phasing of planning actions along with resource management actions.
Serves as focal point for all Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) activities, financial reports, and accounting total system.
Represents the Director as appropriate at Program Budget meetings.
Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level III in Acquisition Career Field - Business, Financial Management within 24 months for entrance on duty.
- Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450.This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

Experience Required: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) level in the Federal service that includes: 1) Applying applicable laws, regulations, procedures, or processes for budget formulation and execution; 2) Managing funds from a wide range of appropriations or programs; 3) Preparing and briefing a variety of reports including funds execution status, budget exhibits and reclamas; 4) Monitoring and executing budgets utilizing automated financial systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) or Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI); 5) Demonstrating leadership skills.
The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or (GS-13) equivalent.
