About the Position: Serves as the principal Senior Staff Program Analyst/Team Leader for assigned organization(s). As senior staff analyst, has responsibility for resource management and fiscal oversight over numerous vehicles, weapon systems and programs funded by various Army appropriations.
Duties
Assists in setting administrative and operational priorities for team.
Assigns work to team members.
Ensures that team members have enough work to do reviews work in progress and/or upon completion, evaluating the quality of the work produced.
Develops and disseminates program requirements and establish funding profiles.
Identifies existing or potential problem areas and recommends or directs necessary corrective action(s) or preventive measures.
Develops and provides effective methods to solve problems, support program/item managers, respond to data calls, correct deficiencies, evaluate work and ensure that mission objectives are met.
Acts as primary point of contact for issues relating to the major command appropriation(s) to which assigned.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) security clearance.
- Obtain Financial Management Certification Level 2 in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management within 2 years of employment.
