This position is in Flight Program Operations, Quality Assurance Team. Incumbent is responsible for conducting internal audits and assessments for the Aircraft Maintenance’s Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP).

Duties

The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist, performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager and more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team and may perform some leadership functions for conducting internal audits, documenting findings, and reporting findings for Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) activities.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • One year probationary period may be required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this FV-H (FG/GS-12) position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G (FG/GS-10/11) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including familiarity with quality control standards, the ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations; Experience monitoring and collaborating changes and/or improvements with stakeholders; collecting, analyzing and maintaining records, data, and information; Experience with a full range of principles, concepts, and methodologies related to the quality assurance functional programs; Experience examining and reviewing aviation related technical documents and regulationsApplicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
