The incumbent serves as a Lead Program Advisor in the Contracts and Program Administration Branch, AMA-260 within the FAA Academy.

Duties

Applies experience and expert knowledge as the principle point of contact (POC) in providing advice and guidance to the Division's CORs on innovative ways to procure instructional services for Instructor Led Training (ILT) and Out of Agency Training (OAT) to meet the customer's technical training requirements.

Qualifications

To qualify for the FG-14 (FV-J) you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 52 weeks (1 year) of specialized experience equivalent to the FG-13 (FV-I) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes: Experience planning, scheduling and conducting cost versus benefits analyses, developing and maintaining financial tracking systems and monitoring expenditures, preparing monthly, quarterly and interim reports as required; experience collecting and compiling data for the annual budget estimate for in-house services contracts, serving as the organization's contracting officer's representative (COR) in dealing with Acquisition staff for out of agency contracts involving Regulatory Standards training; experience evaluating training plans for both existing and new courses to assure the analysis of alternate methods of training is complete and out-of-agency approaches to training have been thoroughly and properly considered.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their work history. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
