Incumbent uses knowledge of and experience with aviation safety policies and procedures to ensure the organization is compliant with the latest FAA and Air Traffic Organization (ATO) policies, directives and the Safety Management System (SMS) Manual.

Duties

Serves as the Lead Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and contract subject matter expert (SME) in Operations Support Directorate, AJW-1. Coordinates contract requirements and contract management procedures.

• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
• Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
• Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-J (FG/GS-14/15) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, FV-I (FG/GS-13). Specialized experienceis experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Specialized Experience includes experience applying knowledge of interpreting legal perspectives and analysis when performing contract execution duties and principles to support acquisition and contracting activities.Applicants should include examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
