About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W0JAAA US ARMY COUNTERINTELLIGENCE COMMAND serving as a Administrative Officer.
Duties
Implementing specific and general provisions of government wide programs in the area of equal employment opportunity and employee management relations to assure equal treatment of all employees.
Developing the awards budget with the Resource Management Office and manages the usage.
Developing and disseminating internal administrative policies and procedures.
Coordinating the interface of various administrative functional aspects, e.g., personnel management, position management, processing of personnel actions between command administrative support personnel.
Reviews updates to automated records and reports to reflect command strength, personnel, distribution, overtime used, status of outstanding personnel actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- Temporary duty (TDY) travel may be required 15% or less.
- All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.

Specialize experience is defined and experience which includes 1) assigning work among employees providing expert direction for analytical agenda, and 2) evaluating program effectiveness by reviewing reports, and discussion with subordinates; AND 3) reviewing position structure of the organization supervised to ensure positions are established to promote optimum balance between economy, efficiency and utilization of skills. This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.
