Duties
You will receive and provide timely responses to public inquiries via email, written correspondence, and by telephone.
You will identify communication needs of target audiences and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of methods and styles of communication.
You will maintain liaison with internal and external representatives.
You will research and respond timely to news media queries.
You will assist in community outreach events and other related activities.
You will provide a full range of photography products, i.e. ceremonies, special events, imagery, related to alert photography on the installations, which will be used for various purposes.
You will plan, produce, and post still imagery and information content for web-based platforms.
You will serve as military studio photographer, conducting final checks to ensure subjects are wearing uniform properly.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Write and otherwise communicate to an internal or external audience via social media and other media; 2) Organize community outreach events or ceremonies; 3) Prepare information products (i.e. photos, videos, news releases, articles, informational reports, etc.) for effective dissemination to internal/external audiences; 4) Maintain detailed information on commands programs, policies and activities to brief supervisors, co-workers, media or other audiences.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
