Duties
Serve as Resource Management Officer for the Headquarters of a Training Support Brigade (TSB) and is the financial advisor to the TSB Commander.
Perform the full range of resource management duties including review and analysis in the formulation, presentation, and execution of the TSB Command Budget Estimate (CBE).
Evaluate manpower utilization and proposes improvements to staffing and organization when appropriate.
Manage and reviews implemented agreements to incorporate new requirements as missions change, and to insure that required services are provided and reimbursements made.
Monitor the appropriated fund resources (dollars and manpower) as well as managing the financial management information system (input and output) that supports the accounting, budgetary, and statistical reporting.
Communicate with a variety of staff and high-level managerial personnel.
Utilize General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), the Army’s web-enabled financial, asset and accounting management system that standardizes, streamlines and shares data across the Active Army, the ARNG and the USAR.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing resource management duties; reviewing and analyzing the formulation, presentation, and execution of budget; and operating various financial systems for military, civilians, and government contractors to provide sound guidance and assistance on sources of necessary financial information such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Defense Travel System (DTS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
