Duties
Serve as the Financial Management Analyst for the Financial Management Accounting and Policy Division, U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), G-8.
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of management programs/initiatives at the Theater Army/Army Service Component Command (ASCC) level.
Administer the Risk Management Internal Control Program (RMIC).
Direct the submission of the USARPAC Annual Statement of Assurance (ASOA).
Lead the USARPAC Audit Readiness Team to achieve auditable financial statements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Army (DoA) requirements of this certification program.
- This position has Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 5% of the time.
- Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with 1) administrating the Risk Management Internal Control Program (RMIC), 2) leading the Organization Inspection Program (OIP) for G8 (Resource Management), 3) providing expert financial audit readiness compliance advice and recommendations, and/or 4) performing reviews of financial resource management processes to identify potential discrepancies, developing corrective action plans, documents, and/or monitor compliance. Must be able to demonstrate advance skills with office computer applications to include pivot table spreadsheets, database merges, create and edit forms & briefings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
