Duties
Serve as supervisory Resource Manager with HQs, US Army Pacific, Assistant Chief of Staff, G8.
Provide professional resource assistance, advice, and guidance on matters related to the application of resource management.
Analyze and execute budget programs, following USARPAC procedures; provide recommendations for funding allocation, adjustments including prioritizing funded and unfunded requirements.
Prepare various recurring and special reports, statements, and other official documents which indicate the availability and status of funds.
Development and maintenance of controls to preclude over-obligation of appropriated funds, to include the verification of propriety of fund citations or obligation authorities and certification of availability of funds.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position. Incumbent is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of Army requirements of this certification program.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
