Duties

Serve as Resource Management Analyst in the Budget Operations Branch, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8, Headquarters U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC). Has direct responsibility and oversight authority for funds control for both Civilian Pay and Operational funds. Responsible for performing the full range of review and analysis functions in the Budget formulation, presentation, and execution of the USARPAC budget. Ensure the adequacy, accuracy, and effectiveness in the resource and financial management of over $2 billion executed annually for USARPAC. Provide oversight and guidance to USARPAC managers and subordinate command analysts on all aspects of budgeting including the development of budget requests and related supporting documentation. Ensure civilian pay is fully funded and monitors shortfalls and hiring lags.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of Army requirements of this certification program.
  • Must be able to work overtime and/or compensatory time as required.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
