You will serve as a Industrial Specialist (Ships), Project Manager in the Small Craft & Unmanned LCACS/LCUS Division, Waterfront Operations Department, (Code 361), Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, with a duty location in MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
Duties
You will act as the business agent for MARMC with other activities involved in the assigned availability/contracts.
You will maintain liaison with customers, ship’s force, and contractors on all matters on all assigned availabilities from advance planning through post completion.
You will act as funds administrator for the assigned availability and contracts.
You will coordinate planning, and estimating, design specification preparation, and scheduling.
You will conduct the arrival conference, weekly progress conferences, and to represent MARMC at all conferences pertaining to the assigned availability and contracts.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience acting as funds administrator for contracts of ships.
Experience planning, estimating, scheduling, expediting labor, machines, and materials in an industrial environment.
Experience leading project management teams established for coordination of key events and Milestones on ships and/or crafts.
Experience managing ship repair job orders and contracts by progressing and monitoring contract administration and procurement regulations.
