You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST in the Carrier/Vessel/Nuclear 9CVN) Code 332A. Waterfront Operations Department (WFO) Code 300, Norfolk Ship Support Activity (NSSA) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.

Duties

You will plan/coordinate work to be accomplished by subordinates, set/adjust priorities, and present work completion schedules. You will develop performance standards and evaluate performance. You will act as a business agent for NSSA with other activities involved in the assigned availability contracts. You will compile and present command/flag level briefings involving maintenance planning, execution, or process metric issues.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning management during the pre-production phase and projects management during the execution phase of assigned availabilities. Experience ensuring contractor performance complies with terms and conditions of the contract and that service is provided at a fair and reasonable price. Experience planning/coordinating the work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting/adjusting priorities, and preparing work completion schedules. Experience providing accurate and timely responses to data calls from higher authority or customers associated with Division ships. Experience conducting the arrival conference, weekly progress conferences, and to represent MARMC at all conferences pertaining to the assigned availability and contracts. Experience compiling and presenting command/flag level briefings involving maintenance planning, execution, or process metric issues.
