This position for The Defense Information Systems Agency is at Fort Meade, Maryland .
Duties
Manage response to internal and external customers, stakeholders, and the public with factually accurate information that is consistent with DoD and DISA guidance and policies, as well as other relevant program documents.
Analyze management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.
Make recommendations for the development or modification of program objectives and resource utilization to achieve the established goals, and to improve the performance of operating programs.
Conduct studies of work processes and procedures. Identify problems, review production standards, and make tentative recommendations for problem resolution.
Responsible for administrative activities relating to programming, financial management, budget planning, project control, and additional project management support services.
Assist in the development of directives and the design, development, documentation, and implementation of various reporting systems. Perform other duties as assigned.
Review reports and studies to ensure that vendor requirements are met, and appropriate rules and regulations are utilized.

- This position requires the incumbent to travel away from their normal duty station to other locations within the continental United States and/or other locations outside the continental United States up to 10 percent of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent to work an alternative or shift work schedule.
Qualifications
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-12 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-12, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-11 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience providing contracting, analytical, and evaluation support to the operations of conference and exhibits performance and vendor management.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position. Applicants must describe how their experience meets the competencies within the body of the resume. No separate statements addressing competencies are required.
