This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/ENDPOINT & CUSTOMER SRVC DIRECTORATE.
Duties
Deputy program Manager for the DoDNet Program. Responsible for evaluating program and budget plan proposals, acquisition plans, and strategic plans, ensuring consistency with overall DISA and DoD goals and objectives
Prepares and presents briefings and reports to high-level managers within DISA, the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff (JS), Combatant Commands (COCOMs), and other DoD components
Supervises a group of technical, military and civilian personnel, and also coordinates the work of a number of professional and technical contractor personnel.
Providing liaison and coordination with services and agency elements and providing technical input for program planning and decision-making.
Serves as the leading expert in acquisition program management, and formulating financial and contract management.
Incumbent is responsible for Performing Program contract management, with oversight on contracts, which cover implementation and installation of complex IT systems, support services, and hardware procurement.
Responsible for cost, schedule, and performance. Additionally, effectively communicating and briefing senior officials across Department of Defense.
Manages the Division by setting organizational goals and objectives, evaluating performance and accomplishments, assessing needs for funding and personnel, recommending source allocations.
Requirements

- Financial Disclosure (OGE-450) required.
- This position is required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as:
Experience directing projects with technical authority over a range of information technology disciplines, systems, and applications; and contract management.
