About the Position: Manages and maintains status of all mission and mission support projects, taskings, actions, and programs received/assigned by U.S. Army Talent InnovationDirectorate (ATID). Position located in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Manage and maintains status of all mission and mission support projects, taskings, actions,
and programs received/assigned by U.S. Army Talent Innovation and Assessment Group
(USATIAG).
Plan, organize, schedule, and negotiates issues when ownership is difficult to define or issues cross internal staff lines, when assigning responsibility.
Identify deficiencies/shortfalls and corrective actions and directs revisions.
Review and analyze applicable operations, plans, and logistics directives and policies issued
by HQDA.
Provide expert advice and guidance to staff principals and action officers on how best to
articulate official Army decisions.
Coordinates a myriad of recurring and one-time conferences and briefings, such as the
USATIAG overview briefings for senior leaders and foreign dignitaries.
Conduct analyses and execution of projects covering a wide spectrum of individual and collective training issues.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: Applicant must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes identifying deficiencies/shortfalls and provides recommendations for corrective actions; recommending changes to existing administrative policies and procedures to improve staff operations; preparing a variety of official correspondence e.g., information papers, decision memorandums, point papers, briefings; performing training management functions in areas such as workforce development, collection and reporting, and consolidation of annual training requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
