Duties

Develop new Law Enforcement policy. Research and review existing Law Enforcement policy. Ensure compliance of existing and new Law Enforcement policy throughout the organization. Update current policy to address the applicability of new or revised U.S. Law, LE publications, or current policy for use throughout the organization. Develop detailed plans, tasks, milestone dates and schedules to ensure requirements are met. Participate in regular information planning sessions and working groups regarding LE Policy Programs. Draft and produce guidance regarding program management and reporting. Provide analytical data in support of LE requirements. Evaluate and review policy, directives, and other federal laws and policies. Provide feedback and recommendations regarding policy positions and policy statements.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Developing and coordinating Law Enforcement policy, enforcing procedural compliance for the LE Policy Programs, analyzing and coordinating budgetary resource requirements for LE agencies, providing data analysis utilizing various automated LE systems. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Planning and EvaluatingProgram ManagementStrategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
