Duties
Serves as a team lead in the DLA Indo-Pacific Business Management Office.
Responsible for leading the coordination, collaboration, planning, and execution of multifunctional areas to include regional business management, manpower, and personnel management, financial management, and administrative support.
Provides oversight of the day-to-day execution of all regional business management matters by coordinating, reviewing and analyzing processes, procedures, plans and programs, and by preparing sound recommendations to the Regional Command.
Coordinates communication efforts across the vast servicing area of the DLA lndo-Pacific region.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all internal processes required to effectively operate DLA IP and
regional command.
Plan, establish, implement, and manage the full range of regional policies and procedures of the following major, multi-functional areas: civilian and military personnel liaison, financial, and administrative management functions.
Coordinates with appropriate points of contacts that includes strategic planning, intelligence and security, and
regional business office staff.
Responsible for programs that encompasses the development, documentation, and implementation of internal procedures and administrative controls.
Conducts studies and analysis of business management capabilities, financial, personnel, and administrative
procedures to identify necessary changes to work methods and/or management practices and procedures.
Communicates DLA, DLA IP, and DLA IP regional strategic plan, mission, vision, and values to team members
along with integrating the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and products and services.
Facilitates team assignments, projects, problems to be solved, suspenses and events, milestones and or programs reviews, deadlines, and timeframes for completion.

- You will be a Mission Essential employee. This requires you to work during an emergency to ensure continuation of essential functions. You may be required to work at the designated duty location, a telework site, or an alternate location/facility.
- Subject to Overseas Rotation Agreement: 36 Month Tour
Qualifications
To qualify for a Lead Management Support Officer, GS-0301-13 your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including
time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Broad, detailed, and expert knowledge of and experience with organizational management as applied to the management of complex organizations; administrative management, organizational routines, administrative and management theories, principles, applicable policies, concepts and practices for government and private industry.
Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution processes.
In-depth and comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedence applicable to the fiscal administration of public programs.
Demonstrated ability to identify and propose solutions to experienced problems which are characterized by their scope, importance, and severity, and for which established management techniques are inadequate.
Expert ability to analyze extensive program data/interrelationships and coordinate the preparation of accurate and reasonable program plans and proposals.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
