You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will serve as the command subject matter expert for TAC procedures and issues. You will be responsible for the daily management of the Navy's TAC Helpdesk. You will maintain liaison with Navy Budget Submitting Offices, transportation commands and other agencies. You will assist senior analysts in performing transportation requirement analytical work and respond to data calls. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining audit documentation.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of transportation policies, procedures and systems; 2)Knowledge of applicable NAVSUP WSS, USTRANSCOM, DLA, and other DOD and Navy activity organizations, concepts, principles, regulations, practices, and policies; 3) Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative techniques sufficient to conduct studies, analyze findings and make recommendations in order to develop transportation policies, implementation guidance and identify customer requirements 4) Utilizing office automation tools to complete data analysis and prepare briefs; 5) Broad knowledge of problem solving and team-building methods and techniques to assist team members and individuals in developing effective solutions. 6) Mastery of oral and writing skills to draft and review policy, prepare and present metrics, conduct formal briefings, and communicate effectively. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related

Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
