About the Position: About the Position: This is an Administrative Officer position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, Operations Division, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Serves as Administrative Officer for the Division responsible for the accomplishment of administrative and personal actions, in support of Division objectives. Position reports to the Deputy Chief of Operations Division.
Duties
Coordinate with the human resources office regarding personnel actions for the organization.
Communicate with management and office staff regarding administrative matters concerning the office.
Coordinate the preparation of the annual inventory for training requirements
Communicate with management and office staff regarding administrative matters concerning the office.
Review new circulars and directives affecting administrative procedures to determine required changes and/or actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) required.

GS-09
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) organizing office administrative functions in support of daily operations; AND 2) assisting with the formulation, execution, or management of an office/program's budget; AND 3) performing administrative support duties for an office such as purchasing supplies, records management, coordinating training/travel, or assisting with personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: must possess at least 2 out of the 3 1) providing administrative support to an organization, to include personnel support or position management; AND 2) assisting an organization with training coordination; OR 3) coordinating personnel actions with management.t. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
