This position is located in the Operations and Standards Review Division of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS). The Operations and Standards Review Division is responsible for strategically developing pipeline safety programs to address emerging pipeline safety technical issues and risks to align with PHMSA and pipeline safety priorities, including national damage prevention, public awareness, and public engagement efforts.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include: Experience with coordinating national policy meetings and conference events with internal and external stakeholders. Experience building and sustaining relationships and partnerships with a variety of Federal, state, and local government, the public, and private sector stakeholders to identify challenges and solutions to strengthen safety and risk reduction initiatives. Experience developing national program communications materials such as summaries, reports, speeches, and responses to inquiries, and conveying safety issues to audiences with varying information requirements at national conferences, forums, trade shows, and symposia. Experience associated with damage prevention, public awareness, public engagement, and other pipeline safety initiatives.
