About the Position: This position is with the 200th Military Police Command, 200th Mission Support Element located in Fort Meade, MD.
Duties
Analyze data to identify workforce trends.
Analyze human resources data to provide guidance to customers.
Evaluate civilian human resources business processes, employment policies, and historical practices to streamline and improve quality of services.
Advise managers on unfair labor practices and grievances.
Advise staff and field activities on organization-wide issues that impact labor relations programs.
Advise civilians on a wide range of personnel program issues, practices, and policies to ensure understanding.
Advise subordinate units on the process for submission of awards and decoration.
Clarify human resources policies relevant to programs in functional area expertise.
Develop internal controls that monitor personnel suspense actions to ensure timely processing.
Ensure all personnel management procedural and job administrative tasks are performed in accordance with regulations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; 1) interprets administrative and personnel regulations; 2) advises management on hiring needs/deficiencies; 3) coordinates aspects of requests for personnel actions; 4) and assists in the implementation of recommendations for programs, policies, and hiring actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
