You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) branch of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Duties
You will be responsible for accurate logistic support provided for each ship at the completion of an Integrated Logistics Overhaul or Integrated Logistics Review (ILO/ILR)
You will be responsible for evaluation and/or resolution for program support data
You will be managing and directing the work of the ILS Branch
You will analyze and solve complex/difficult logistics problems
You will work with various information technology systems such as configuration databases
You will promote and practice Information Technology (IT) security policies.
You will represent Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center in transactions with Naval Systems Commands, Fleet Commands, HR Offices regarding Integrated Logistics Overhaul and Integrated Logistics Reviews, mission changes, improvements, etc.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist work by demonstrating an extensive working knowledge of logistics principles, concepts, regulations, policies, and relevant precedent decisions in order to recognize, analyze, and solve difficult logistics problems, and make technical recommendations and decisions. I have extensive knowledge of Ship Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) which includes but not limited to Integrated Logistics Overhaul and/or Phased Maintenance Reviews that consists of ILS disciplines. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying an extensive knowledge and experience with ship-related integrated logistics support (ILS), in order to provide accurate logistics support to ships undergoing Integrated Logistics Overhaul or Integrated Logistics Review; 2) Analyzing ILS planning to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics program operations; 3) Leading the completion of ILS tasks to ensure priorities and deadlines are set and met in accordance with program needs; 4) Planning and assigning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work and 5)ability to analyze and solve difficult logistics problems in order to make technical decisions and recommendations.
