You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Industrial Support Department, Repair and Modernization (R&M) Division of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.

Duties

You will provide leadership/supervision throughout the division and is instrumental in shaping supply and logistics processes, developing new program policies, goals, and objectives. You will provide technical expertise, guidance and direction to subordinate employees regarding a wide range of industrial business, supply, and logistic matters. You will resolve complex business problems of potentially long-range impact on activities and ILS matters. You will ensure all ILS, supply chain management and supply systems are interlaced to complete support for all shipboard systems.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying mastery knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) principles and practices, budget regulations, and strategic logistical planning to include supervising or managing a supply or logistics team. I have extensive knowledge providing technical expertise, guidance and direction regarding a wide range of industrial business, supply, and logistic matters. Examples must include the following: 1) Supervise, advise, and oversee supply management and logistic processes in a shipboard setting; 2) Provide overall ILS strategic direction, planning, and execution of management and administrative functions; 3) Ensuring all ILS, Supply Chain Management and supply systems are interlaced to ensure complete support for all shipboard systems; 4) Resolve complex procurement/business problems of long-range impact on activities of ILS matters to include developing new policy and program guidance, and methods; and 5)providing ILS support and services to fleet units assigned to Integrated Logistic Overhauls (ILO).
